Clean, very comfortable bed, friendly, helpful owner/host, very tasty Chicken & Bacon Pizza (highly recommend). This is a geat location for visiting Egmont National Park and/or if riding a motorcycle, cruising the "Forgotten World Highway."

I had Room 3. Mounted on outside wall of the room is the hot water heater. Until restaurant/tavern closed, everytime someone turned on hot water facet machine clicked on and made loud noise/vibration. So if possible, avoid Room 3.

It's a great steal... Close to Mt Egmont, staff is very friendly, great shower, good internet and a bar Cafe below (no noise in the rooms).

Location to Mt Taranaki walking trails. Dinner was good. Secure yard for car. Small kitchen to make coffee and cook toast. Microwave and fridge.
