White Lagoon Resort - All Inclusive

Everything - facilities, food and the staff overall. Would definitely recommend and revisit!

The cleaning isn’t the best.

The food was very good (excellent for a resort), well above all-inclusive resort standards (tasty vegies, fresh fish available both at lunch and dinner, enough variation), comparable with a good a-la-carte restaurant. The resort has plenty of pools so you never feel crowded, it also has an acceptable animation team (plus a great, although too long, Bulgarian dance show). It has access to two beaches, on separate bays, so again, you don't feel crowded. It's not the best water, but this is the Black Sea. Plenty of good quality umbrellas and loungers everywhere on the beach and around the pools. The room was very clean and daily cleaning was not great but ok. The tourists are a mixed crowd of Romanian, Bulgarians and Germans/Norwegians from tour operators. It's way more civilized than in other parts of the Bulgarian seaside. The room we got was on the first row, had great sea views and large enough balcony, and it was spacious (1 br apartment).

The room furnishings were terrible, which made you feel like in a 2* hotel. The TV stand for example had a very awkward hole to make room for the tv cable socket, it seemed like it was made by a 5 yrs old with saw. Or in the bathroom, the toilet seat cover did not fit at all. The bathroom photos on booking were also not real (but the room photos were). Same with some of the outside areas - appliances were good quality but whatever workers they have, they are terrible, which makes you feel you're in a very cheap hotel. Some of the pools had dirty walls at the water level. The water was very clean though. The staff was bored/not friendly. Your holiday is a 9-5 job for them, but being friendly/smiley is part of the job. The only friendly staff seemed to be the animation team and the cleaning ladies, who were actually saying hello and smiling when you passed by. The restaurant has a very nice outside terrace but in the morning it's full of wasps, they don't seem to try to fix it, although it clearly bothers tourists. Overall, I would rate the resort as follows: Room 2* Outside areas 3-4* Food 5* Staff 3-4* Considering the high rates they charge (we paid 200 EUR per night all inclusive) it should def. be higher standards.

Very well stocked meals, lots of options, even if a bit repetitive. Entertainment team was excellent, enjoyed children's disco and the beach party. The kid had a great time, and us too :)

Comfortable beds, many pools, great staff, the beach is very very close to the hotel. Clearly a great resort designed for family with kids. The studio was huge and the balcony as well.

Somehow unsatisfied with the food and drinks, i ate and drank everything, don't get me wrong, but hear me out. When you pay 100 €/day/person for all inclusive you might expect better quality food, at least not frozen and if you are not drinking a bootle of vodka alone to damage the hotel's profit, then i expect better drinks. Because the resort is remote, the activities end at 22:30-23 each day and there isn't a lot to do afterwards.
