White Rock of Kos Hotel - Adults only

Amazing hotel set on a hill side so view is second to none. We were lucky enough to have a suite with a private pool which was incredible. Staff go above and beyond and are so friendly and helpful, reception, restaurant staff, the guys driving the golf carts, nothing was too much trouble. The bar and restaurant have a great view and the main pool also has a bar / lunch service which was really good. The local area has lots of good restaurants and beaches We did not want to leave and would highly recommend.

The hotel is high on a hillside so to get down to the town you either need a transfer from the hotel or you can walk down ( it is steep but manageable around 5-7 minutes walk) however you cannot walk back this way after dark as it is unlit, the hotel were always quick to send a pick up but it does add to the cost.

The hotel was wonderful, the facilities were lovely and most of the people were very friendly.

We found the waitress staff rude and always seemed very miserable, to be honest this let down the whole stay. Didn’t feel welcomed by them at all. The cleaners and reception staff were lovely and the people driving us were great most of the time too.

Location is amazing - great view of the bay. Private pool was also great as was the overall size of the suites - very comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable as the options changed every day vs the same thing over and over again. Nice Greek sweets were included in the breakfast as well.

As a 5 star I would expect much nicer towels (bath and pool), bed sheets and overall furnishings in the suites. These were cheaper than normal for a 5 star hotel. Service was friendly but again lacked the feeling of a 5 start hotel

Loved the rooms, the view and the staff were lovely.

Breakfast appeared somewhat limited. The room one wall had started to crack so could probably do with a lick of paint but nothing crazy. Pool floor I think was dated as felt broken bits.

No bathroom amenities No room service but for €5 charge to bring you some ice. All was up 25 degree climb in 35c heat. Only one bottle of water offered at the beginning of your stay and you can’t drink the tap water.

Fabulous staff , stunning views , great food

gorgeous white theme but very stark minimalist “Americanised” decor could have been softened with some interior design and still been “white” I asked three times for the exercise bike I preferred in the small gym to have its batteries replaced but this was never done so i gave up. I couldn’t use it the whole time I was there - disappointing as I purposely chose a hotel with a gym and I like a bike. they moved the small non electric one to the window for me but the nice one just sat there not working for a whole week seems like it wouldn’t have taken much effort to sort it. the path to and from the beach was for the more intrepid - really handy for us but rocky snd unlit in the evenings (had to use your phone torch to navigate) through a steeply sloping field so if you were older (or wearing heels) you would have to take a car for the short 5 minute drive to the seafront which would be a shame - some solar lights and a paved path would make this a delightful daily walk We had a lovely stay but those small details - more sophisticated interior design, better client service and improved access to the beach would elevate this to a really five star experience to match the facilities and location which are amazing. the simple beach restaurants are nice but all quite similar - we asked for recommendations for fine dining but were sent to more of the same. Found out too late there is a seven restaurant all inclusive hotel where you can book dinner online a short walk away - maybe they are competition? if I go again I would do that for some variety.

Everything -close to town, airport, clean, well maintained and equipped and the staff could not be more hospitable.

Can’t fault it!
