After long mornings exploring Kolkata’s intensity, returning to the Penthouse felt less like retreating from the city and more like remaining thoughtfully immersed within it. Its position at the top of a nondescript building speaks to its discrete allure. Discretion not for the sake of elitism, but simplicity, a gem humbly perched above the city, central to the very best Kolkata has to offer.

This probably had the most attentive staff we have ever seen and we’ve been to over 100 countries.

A stunning property in a unique setting -- fabulous! The hospitality offered by both staff and management was warm, gracious, and informative. The rooms, meals, and common spaces were top-notch. The view from the roof-top pool at sunset - unparalleled. Nothing about our stay disappointed.
