Manta Reserve

Amazing place. Manta Reserve is a new, clean and well-maintained facility. Close to the beach. Best place to stay on Malhoos. The care was premium, beyond our expectations. Affan, the owner is very kind, respectful, friendly and helpful. I contacted him before our stay. He responded fast and was ready to answer all my questions. He communicated all the prices before our stay and was ready to cook according to our vegetarian diet. We were coming to Maldives for the first time and did not know how to arrange the transport from the airport to the island. Affan offered to arrange a speed boat for us. He personally welcame us at the airport and took the speedboat ride from the airport to the island with us. He helped us with everything we needed. His cooking is great, he is using much of local organic items like fresh coconut water and pulp, papaya, star fruit, mango, island grown fruits and veggies. On two nights we dined directly on the beach. Even the blue fluorscent plankton appeared which was an unforgetable experience. Affan, the owner, arranged our trips - snorkling with turtles, local cuisine cooking class, coconut oil making class and dolphin watch. We saw coral reef and swam with big turtles, tropical fish, sting rayas, mantas and watched dozens of dolphins. The island, Maalhos, is beautiful with turquoise water and white coral sand beaches which are not at all crowded. You’ll find beautiful sea shells on the beach. There is a forest on the island, full of palms and tropical trees. It has pathways with smooth white sand and you can roam there freely. Weather is great 28-32 degrees Celsius. Local people are very friendly. You can walk on the beach around the island, it takes around 45 minutes to go around the island. This holiday was a dream and I will recommended it to my friends. It’s totally worth the money, we enjoyed our stay very much.
