nice host, clean place

This small hotel is friendly, quiet and very clean and comfortable. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served by a very friendly, efficient and hard working member of staff who made sure I had everything I wanted. I chose to stay there for a second time and both stays were to the same high standard. Thank you.

We stayed here one night after taking a nine hour ferry from the Amalfi coast. We weren't sure what to expect because it had only 3 stars but we were pleasantly surprised. Our group had 3 rooms - all were very large and comfortable. Online, some people had complained that the rooms were old-looking, but we thought they were a welcome change from the tiny rooms we'd had in other parts of Europe. The staff were friendly and helped us find parking for our van - note that vans are too tall to fit in their parking garage. The breakfast was good. All in all, I recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Good, competent hotel, everything is modest and workable, rooms not large but comfortable, wifi and breakfast quite satisfactory. Nice and helpful staff, especially a very courteous, hard-working and pleasant lady named Arlene.

Booked this hotel as it was end of a long day's drive and ferry crossing. In hindsight would have preferred to go further away from ferry crossing. The hotel was OK - checkin efficient and staff helpful and somewhat friendly. Room was OK for the one night we were staying on our way further in Sicily. The area around the hotel was poor - would certainly not stayed here for more than 1 night. Check out efficient. Car was parked in garage for nominal fee (15 Euro) for the night- garage being about 5 minutes away from the hotel. Would recommend that you get a hotel outside of Messina if at all possible.

This was a very nice hotel. About a 10 minute walk from the main shopping district and 15 walk to historical center. We were impressed with the welcoming staff. Our room wasn't quite ready and we were offered coffee and treats. The room was spacious, with a balcony, nice bathroom, and a comfortable bed. We were located near the street and was not bothered by any noise, it appears to be a quite neighborhood. This was a great place for a good price.

I just came home from Messina and this hotel was the best part of the city. Unlike the rest of Messina, the hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating and most of them spoke some English. The women in the dining room were wonderful and pleasant. Nickolas at the front desk, was incredibly helpful with anything I needed. I was in Messina for 2 weeks and was originally staying at the Royal Hotel, which was awful! I called and spoke to Nickolas, he was very efficient and accommodating when I wanted to move to their hotel...my only disappointment was that I didn't do it sooner! If you have to be in Messina then this is the only place you should stay!

We visited this very comfortable hotel ten minutes walk from the centre of town as a staging post before getting on the ferry to the mainland. It was the middle of August and we were the only guests we saw, which seemed strange at what should have been peak holiday season. The hotel does have more of a business feel about it, but it was very comfortable, we were able to park right outside and the staff looked after us, so no complaints!

Just spent 4 nights at wonderful Hotel. Very clean rooms and facilities. The Hotel staff are very attentive front desk and also breakfast ladies and room cleaners. Position is excellent. Would recommend this Hotel very highly. We have been on a 5 week holiday and this Hotel ranks one of the best. Thank you to all staff....

The category: it a four star, in the sense that everything is brand new, rooms are quite large, bathroom regular size but impeccable and clean. Being a small hotel, common spaces are quite limited. It is a small hotel in a secondary road, however quiet and very near to university and tribunal. An exception in Messina, manitenance is accurate. Breakfast is correct. The orange juice must be improved, why save money on such a small expense, and irritate a customer?
