Turtle Bay Beach Resort

The only and only ok thing is that it is at the beach..but this fact can be ignored while booking since one can anyway access the beach even if not staying here

To start with this is a very small place with total 7-8rooms only( with no view of of beach at all from any room). The rooms are so small that if you keep your stuff in the room, there is no space for movement. There were lizards in the room, the washroom was not clean. Being in the hospitality business, there is no hospitality at the property. Staff is just a puppet of management. Management charges an additional 15$ each day for 3year old child where it was mentioned free while doing booking. Water is chargeable , no service after 8pm, you need to choose breakfast by 6pm each day and you cannot have options. They don't even clean the room each day considering beach rooms get dirty each day. The level of mosquito were too much which led my kids with all mosquito bites on whole body.We ordered the dine option as well but the taste was bad too. If asked anything from staff, the only answer is management doesn't allow. On one day it rained heavily and water came all inside the bed, on raising the concern to staff simple answer this was first time rain came...we are not aware of this water..and there was one guy who looked as incharge got very arrogant and said to check out if water is a problem. There are so many hotels or resorts near this place which are much much better..with better view better food and best hospitality. There is a resort just in front of turtle bay- the morning star..please book that hotel you will have the best time in sri Lanka Turtle bay beach resort is the worst resort of my life and the worst hospitality ever. We had to cancel our booking in mid of our bookings but glad we did as the stay in The Morning Star was superb.

A localização é excelente, mesmo em cima da bonita baía de Turtle bay. Tem uma boa cozinha/restaurante com forno para pizas. Tudo o que experimentamos estava muito bom. O quarto tem uma boa dimensão, cumpre com as necessidades básicas. alpendre em frente ao quarto com vista para o mar. Os empregados eram todos muito simpáticos e prestáveis. Podem solicitar gratuitamente equipamento de snorkling, ou fazer um tour com guia para ver tartarugas.

A limpeza do quarto e casa de banho poderia ser melhor. a casa de banho precisa de melhorias, tem vários cabos ou buracos por onde aparecem insectos. Tem um aspecto sujo e mal acabado. As mobilias de praia estavam muito desleixadas. embora existissem cadeiras de praia e mesas com bom aspecto e em uso, tinha muito mobiliário partido e com péssimo aspecto, que poluíam o visual do hotel que poderia ser muito melhor. bastava retirar todo aquele mobiliário (principalmente camas e colchões de praia) danificados e com mau aspecto e retirar todas a bandeiras e fios que existem em cima das arvores que melhorava e muito o aspecto. tem casas de banho e chuveiros exteriores que podem ser utilizados pelos hospedes ou por quem frequenta a praia, mas estão em péssimas condições, precisam urgentemente de obras, ou pelo menos uma limpeza a fundo.

Le personnel de l'hôtel a été très gentil alors que nous arrivions à peine de France... et qu'ils fêtaient nouvel an. Nous avons été conviés gratuitement au repas et à la fête, les enfants ont reçu des cadeaux! Nous disposions de chambres côte à côté avec une terrasse commune, idéal pour discuter en famille. L'hôtel est situé au centre de Mirissa mais suffisamment en retrait du bruit et de la fête pour se reposer. L'accès à la plage est direct: transats pour la sieste, masques pour observer les poissons et les tortues... difficile de faire mieux!

Notre chambre avait une salle de bain mal ventilée et elle est restée humide durant tout le séjour. Nos deux chambres étaient les seules concernées, les autres à l'étage du restaurant devaient être mieux ventilées.

It was an unbelievable experience at Turtle Bay Beach Resort. We were travelling with our 20 months old daughter amd they have taken extra care for this. Room Was simply outstanding, the beach is within 10 yards from our room and all throughout the day you can get excellent view from that. Snorkeling gears are free for the guests and you can see turtles while doing snorkelling. It is 100/100 mark for the whole the Turtle Nay beach resort team.

Toplage, näher am Strand geht nicht (Familienzimmer) Extramatratze im Familienzimmer Grosses Badezimmer Frühstück, sehr reichlich+gut, Srilankesisch oder Englisch mit Früchten Schnorcheln vor der Haustüre (leider wars im April relativ wellig und trübe Sicht, trotzdem einige Male Schildkröten gesehen und es hat ein paar Korallen und Fische Surfbretter gleich neben an, wie auch surfen in nächster Nähe An der Strasse gibt es in ca 5 Min.Entfernung kleine lokale Läden für Wasser, Biscuits, Milo,... Am Strand viele Restaurants in Gehdistanz

Weiche Betten Immer wieder war mal jemand abends noch unten im Restaurant, auch mal das Personal, was uns gestört hatte (Frühzubettgeher...) Ringhörig wenn jemand nebenan oder oben gewohnt hatte, hört man es und der Holzboden wackelt. Körniger Strand, feiner Sand am Mirissa Beach, ca.5-10 Min.zu Fuss

Perfect place for spending days on the beach. The hotel is literally on the beach. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast.
