Staff members are ever helpful and serve with a smile. We were late for breakfast and they were already packing up. Tony, our Waiter, arranged food for us nonetheless. The hotel facilities are top notch and the location convenient (it’s about 20min drive from JKIA).

The ride in the Golf cart from the parking spot was fun and the driver was friendly and helpful. Room was clean.

We went to celebrate New Years eve and would rather have stayed at home. The experience at Emara was so disappointing from start to end. They let so many people in to the restaurant and the Sky bar that don't stay in the Hotel. Now those that stay in the Hotel can't get a seat in the restaurant and you will get treated like you are not welcome. Also many of the staff members are rude and will intentionally provide misleading information.

Emara Ole‑Sereni and its sister hotel Emara are truly superb accommodations. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every staff member was consistently helpful, professional, and welcoming—always with a genuine smile. One of the standout features of the property is the views. Rooms on one side overlook Nairobi National Park, offering a peaceful, natural backdrop, (I saw zebras, antelopes, and Buffalo) while the opposite side provides sweeping views of Nairobi’s vibrant cityscape. The contrast between nature and city life is truly special. I would also like to add that the kitchen and wait staff were outstanding—attentive, professional, and consistently delivering excellent food and service. If you would like to make a friend, just sit at any of the bars; you’ll find yourself in a pleasant conversation with a personable bartender. The level of service made me feel valued and at home throughout my stay. I plan to return to Nairobi twice a year, and Emara will unquestionably be my second home every time. Highly recommended.

The only drawback was the modest menu selection. It works well for a short stay—such as a weekend or one-to-two-night business trip—but for longer stays (a week or more), you quickly end up trying everything on the menu and it becomes repetitive. Outside food delivery is an option, but guests are required to sign a release form at the concierge desk, which can feel a bit inconvenient during extended stays.
