GBThe kitchen had officially just closed when we arrived but they provided us with some supper anyway, which made us feel very welcome.

GBWe were made so welcome from the moment we walked through the door, we soon felt like we were among good friends. We have visited the Swan a number of times before, and loved the place and so wanted to stay for a long time. The bar area is stunning fitted out with furnishings rescued from a now demolished stately home. They serve beers from the Joules brewery and the bedrooms are named after the various brews. we were alocated rooms named after my two favourites, Green Monkey and Slumbering Monk. The rooms are very cosy and smartly decorated. The shower was amazing and took a lot of will power to get out of. The room price includes a very nice breakfast. Including a choice of cereals and a cooked breakfast. There is plenty of free parking and the area is peaceful. The road through the village can be busy but not too noisy. Just want to add a special thank you to Richard and Alex for making our stay so special.
