GBThe hotel is very conveniently located for Thatcham town centre and has free parking and free wifi. We received a very warm and enthusiastic welcome at Reception when we checked in. Unfortunately, I did not get the name of the receptionist, but she deserves a special mention. She was very helpful, informative and attentive. We were attending an event, so we were out most of the time, and did not use all of the facilities. However, the room was spacious and clean. It had a room safe, a very good quality, ibviously brand new, iron abd an irining board and the tv and remote worked well and offered a lot of channels. There was no a/c but there was a standing fan and the heating could be controlled individually. There is a spa onsite and the spa facilities are included for hotel guests. There are lots of choices of seating areas to relax or socialise away from your room, in addition to the var and restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant. The buffet breakfast was very good. It was very good value for money, similarly priced to Travel Lodge and Premier Inn, but more conveniently located for Thatcham and offering much more.
There isn't anything I didn't like. If I were to suggest improvements, I would suggest restoring the fridges in the rooms. Our room did not have a fridge, but there was a cupboard under the tea and coffee, which clearly used to house one.
