Amphitrite Resort

Location was good. Food and drinks non memorable. Pool was nice.

Bathroom doors in our unit had to be the weirdest thing I have ever seen in a Resort room. Owner or manager lurking about all the time going in and out of her private unit was weird. Staff was friendly but could tell they live in fear of the owner. Not a fun work environment I would think.

The pool and the villas are very nice, and the resort area is quiet and calm. Families with baby’s and smaller kids were put in the villas next to the pool with shallow water, and families with teens were located in there area with deeper water. We stayed in a villa with two bedrooms and to bathrooms and a living room, which was really nice when travelling with two teens on 15 and 17 years. It is easy to go to Alona beach with a Tuk Tuk - it only takes 5 minutes. There are a 7-eleven and a couple og restaurant next to the resort.

No not water in the shower for 3 days (we stayed 6 nights). The safety box did not work and the doors to the villa could not be locked properly. They promised to fixed the lock on the door, but it never happened - and it took 3 days before we had hot water in the shower. The breakfast is really simple and only one cup of juice or coffee was offered. We asked for discount because of the defects in the room, but they refused.

The breakfast was marginally fair nothing special..

There are no towels in the room. We have to wait three hours to get towels.. no TV. no tea or coffee in the room..

Staff were accommodating

They were doing construction on the rooms 9am-5pm. Breakfast was very minimal. Not much life in the place.

pool was OK but needs more water . and handrails fix tiles room was pretty big free drinks at happy hour poolside we had a villa suite .

the staff seemed not interested to help and kept complaining dirty rugs dirty couch pillows room was hot as hell when we arrived . took forever to cool off . small aircon everything was unplugged . no tea or coffee No TV !!! pillows smelled like downy super bad . messed up my sleep and sneezed all night smelly drains shower and tub outside . great unless the weather is bad . or hot . the doors don't lock right and fall off track . too much water pressure . butt washer is like a truck washer . no amenities 2 tiny water bottles . pool deck has boards sticking up all over trees need trim wider to see the uneven foot path fire extinguisher looks 100 yrs old . no restaurant lousy breakfast broken tiles in pool lack of help on arrival most snacks out of stock pages of rules is laughable . priced to high for what you get jet noise all night and day . inside its fairly loud at night . the smoke burning next door . plastics

The place is superb for the price. The front desk was accommodating explaining our perks during our stay. Unlimited cocktail was offered until 9pm on the day of our arrival. They offer free breakfast thats tasty and they made it fresh.. Although the location is a bit far from heart of Alona, it was peaceful. All rooms were surrounded by big pools. The rooms are big as well. We really had fun!

It's about 20 mins to the heart of Alona beach and the busy streets.

Great location, 5 mins away from the beach.

Not really accommodating for children, we had to ask for extra bedding for the children. We also had breakfast included but had to pay extra for children to eat breakfast if they wanted to. Our toilet was also really dirty at the back of the seat & smelt.
