The best thing was the meal we had the night before and breakfast following morning.

The room was very basic and the bathroom was very unhygienic. The towel rail needed to replaced and the area behind toilet pan was filthy. One of the hand towels was worn and had a large hole in it.

It was very central. Rooms extremely comfortable and spotless. ALL staff were amazing. Food was excellent.

A wee bit tired looking in some areas, but did not affect our stay in any way whatsoever.. Just being picky 🙃

"Great location for central Peebles"

Location was perfect. Staff were very friendly and great fun. Lots of smiles and banter. Food was excellent - proper thick hand cut chips! Good value ‘room over a pub’ hotel.

Bath towel was dirty, stained with make up (I hope!) when unrolled. Bathroom fittings rusty.
