We really enjoyed our stay albeit brief. Good choice of food options for dinner with locally sourced meats and reasonably priced. I was thrilled to see kippers on the breakfast menu!

It‘s untidy. The carpet floor looks like 40 years old, it is definitely dirty.

Location and views were stunning.

Bed and pillow were very hard and uncomfortable. Hotel was a bit scruffy and tired. There were two windows in the room with an outside path outside one of them which was the entry to the annexe block that my room was contained in. There were curtains, but no net curtains, which meant every time someone passed right next to the window, they could see right into the room so no privacy whatsoever unless I kept the curtains ( one of which was hanging off one of its rings) closed at all times. Very dry scrambled egg for breakfast which had obviously been overcooked in a microwave. No fresh fruit offered for breakfast except the remains of what had been fresh fruit salad.

Front door of hotel locked until check in time. Table booked in restaurant but had to eat in bar as they had people walk in for meals to the restaurant. Cooked breakfast quite greasy. Hotel definitely needs updating and cleaning

Great location. Nicely decorated bedroom with clean smart bathroom. Friendly bar staff.

Expensive Breakfast and evening meal not great

Excellant service, lovely food and the room was very clean and tidy, overall a perfect place to stay
