Ayumar Homestay Medewi

A "boutique" homestay that actually feels like home. The glass bungalow is surrounded by trees and nothing beats chilling on the terrace to bird sounds and to the river passing below. Ayu & Markus are very welcoming hosts and made everything to accommodate us during the stay (scooter, recommendations, etc..). Second time around and hopefully not the last one. Note to surfers: the point is less than a minute scooter drive away. Note to food lovers: simple but great restaurants options (Avocado, Rasta Café) are very closeby

It was the perfect balance of solitude with the warmest welcome into the communal spaces. We loved the environment and our awesome room. They have drinks to buy, free water, a whole communal kitchen, scooters to rent… and the surf is 2 minutes by bike, what more do you need.

Honestly there was not one thing.

Wonderful place with excellent staff! Kind, wonderful, down to Earth people with a lovely little hideout not far from a great surf break! What more could you ask for?

Beautiful place with very friendly staff and owners. It was lovely to have a well equipped kitchen to make our own meals as we stayed for a longer time. The pool was a cool relief after surfing/walking on hot days. The walk to Medewi Point is easy and there are many great restaurants in the area. Convenient spot to explore greater West and Northern Bali.

If you are a light sleeper the lights and mosques takes some time to get used to.

Cute houses and the facilities were way better than I thought they would be.

A beautiful hotel, with four buildings set within a serene little garden oasis, with a shared kitchen and pool, all just a short drive from the beach and sea. The owners and staff were lovely, and made our stay perfect, helping with motorbike rental and laundry. Surfboard rental is also available. We stayed in both the wooden bungalow and the Deluxe Double Room, and we found both perfectly charming. The bungalow was less sound proof, but the rustic design was beautiful, and the open bathroom yields a view of stars on clear nights. (The garden does as well. Medewi has beautifully dark night skies.) The deluxe double room was beautiful and modern in design, with a great view of the garden. Both rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, and the WiFi was strong throughout. We greatly enjoyed (and extended) our stay, and would love to come again. We can't recommend more highly!
