Everything; this is a hotel of 2 standards. We were ignored in our request for a better room, simply moved to another similar room. We have mobility issues and couldn't have managed the very small shower or the lack of space around the bed in the first room, this room was possibly the smallest in the hotel. We would have paid willingly for a better room but I imagine as it was for 1 night only and through "booking.com" no one was interested. The corridor to the room was dimly lit and some carpeting was stained and dirty. The walls were painted a dull brown nothing like the bright clean look of the rest of the hotel The bathroom floor crawled with tiny insects escaping from a gap between the tiling on the floor and the wall. The wardrobe door was stuck closed and coming off the rail The bedding was stained. The room was dark, very small and the only chair was blocking the patio door opening. There were no notices regrading fire drill or room rates (is this not a regulation anymore ?) Our request for assistance regarding the faults in the room was met with total apathy and nothing was resolved. As it was for 1 night before our ferry crossing we were disillusioned and extremely disappointed but had no choice other than to stay We have stayed at this hotel in the past, independently, and been treated totally differently

La vue mer était très petite dans la chambre que l'on voulait nous donner. Après réclamation nous avons eu un upgrade avec une belle vue mer.
