Amazing place! The ocean view from the balcony is absolutely breathtaking. The room is clean and more spacious than I expected. The bed is wide and comfortable. The location is perfect, just 5 minutes walk to Talalla Beach - a wide, white sand, empty beach. It's also not far from Hiriketiya and Matara or Mirissa. The owners of the place go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Tasty and filling breakfast. You can also order food and drinks from the menu for lunch or dinner. Stable WiFi. Nice swimming pool. Adapters for electric sockets, useful if you have EU plugs. I'm more than happy with my stay at Talalla Leisure and I will definitely stay there again when in Sri Lanka!

Plutôt que Mirissa, nous souhaitions une destination calme, une plage sans trop de monde. C'est exactement ce que nous avons eu à Talalla. L'hôtel propose des balcons, des espaces communs pour profiter ensemble. La piscine et la mer sont deux lieux parfaits pour se rafraîchir! Nos hôtes étaient très arrangeants (la maladie m'ayant attrapé le jour de notre check out, on a pu partir un peu plus tard moyennant un petit supplément). Le restaurant est très bon et les petits déjeuners tantôt traditionnels tantôt américains pour éviter qu'on se lasse. Petite astuce : apéritif sur le bâtiment abandonné à une minute à pied pour admirer le coucher du soleil.

Rien. Un hôtel où on se sent bien. Nous avions une chambre deluxe au second étage du second bâtiment ce qui nous a permis d'avoir une magnifique vue. Pas embêtés par les travaux donc.

The reviews totally matched our 8 night stays at Talalla Leisure. The breakfasts were different each day and very very delicous. Pool was relaxing and the location met our needs.

We had one of the best stays of our trip. Fantastic views, really friendly staff and an epic banana leaf fish dinner!

Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber und modern, toller Pool.

Ich habe nach einer glutenfreien Frühstücksoption gefragt und mir wurde versichert, am nächsten Tag srilankische Hoppers zu bekommen. Leider hat das Personal mir stattdessen Toastbrot, Burgerbrot und eine gefüllte srilankische Teigtasche gegeben, sodass ich nur das Obst und Ei essen konnte. Schade, dass man extra fragt und etwas vereinbart und es letztendlich nicht eingehalten wird. Daher die Punkte Abzug. Für meinen Partner, der sich nicht glutenfrei ernähren muss war das Frühstück jedoch gut.

Overall a decent stay. The staff were friendly, and both breakfast and food were good. The rooms were fine and comfortable enough.

On the downside, the rooms were not ready until after the official check-in time. The bathroom lacks shelves for toiletries, and without a shower curtain the entire bathroom gets wet after showering. It was also not possible to book a taxi, only tuk-tuk, and a 3% fee was added when paying by card.

Nette Gastgeber, die uns mit einem leckeren Willkommensgetränk begrüßt haben. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und das Bett sehr bequem. Zum Frühstück wird abwechslungsreich serviert. Der Strand ist über einen steilen Hügel in etwa 5 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr schöner gepflegter Pool. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Leider wird der Meerblick etwas getrübt, da aktuell direkt davor ein neues Hotel gebaut wird.
