Hotel Casa Dulce Maria

Location excellent. Cold pool so refreshing. Restaurant and cafe right by the pool.

Older but very well maintained for 1958 build! Shared balcony but didn’t use. AC was smelly, stale water maybe.

Within walking distance of town square Includes parking, which is 2 blocks up. Hacienda style hotel, with great central space.

Room was small and restroom was very small, odd situation to get in and out. They offer breakfast on their site, but we did not receive food, they say they no longer offer it 🙃

This property was lovely and charming. Very clean and the staff were excellent, very helpful.

Location has a very good and a very bad factor. It's very close to the plaza, that's convenient. There's an open patio bar right across the street which is open until 3am, that didn't let us rest. We stay here for 3 days, People start working in the morning, that is fine but they talk one to another at the other side of the patio very loud! I had to ask around 7am to don't be so loud we couldn't sleep! I had a room right in the middle of the patio, across the water fountain, right in the middle of all the action. At the moment of check out, we were told we need to wait so they can check our room, guy after 20min, comes back with a dirty towel with they are saying they are going to charge me for the towel. I was in shock! I asked why do I need to pay for a towel that only need to be send to the laundry, they argue that that stain is not going away because they just try to wash it and it didn't work. My husband grabs the towel, goes back to the room wash it and comes back with a clean towel. They said they are still going to make me pay for it because it's not completely clean! Are you kidding me?!?!?! it look pretty white already, do you expect people to not to use your towels or WHAT??? If you are staying here READ the paper they make you sign when you check in, that said that dirty towels and I don't know how many things you will be charge if they are not in good shape. (Checking in they said sigh here at the bottom, and you don't keep a copy) Never coming back.

You can hear everything outside of your room. All employees were loud at early hours in the morning. I'm not saying they can't talk, but the design of the patio and the house make it a very enclose sound, you can hear everything from side to side if you speak with low voice. We party like everyone else in Tequila, we did not want to be waken up by employees early Saturday or Sunday morning. Club across the street IT'S LOUD, you can't control that. Your employees make us feel extremely upset when they wanted me to pay for a towel, stating that it was too dirty, specially after my husband wash it and it look clean. We travel all over the world and never seen something so stupid. It's not about the money, the ridiculous scenario we had to face. One more thing, parking is a block down the street and it covers you until 12pm. Anything after that you have to pay extra per hour.

Excelent choice to stay in town. So close to everything dining and touring was so easy finding. I will stay again for sure!
