I stayed at Emerald twice, first stay was no frills but OK (in Ternate there are not many options). But after the second stay I only have one recommendation - simply don't go there! Although Booking information was clear that the full amount was deducted from my card and no one asked for my card during the stay, already after check out (!) their employee harassed me at the airport (when I was waiting for my flight to Jakarta) to pay (again) cash! As you can imagine the situation was stressful and I eventually did give them cash (of course no receipt whatsoever...)
