Excellent location - walkable to all the important sights, stunning views from the rooftop and fabulous breakfast…

When staying in an Haveli it’s important to be aware you are effectively staying in someone’s home and the noise is greater than a hotel - family socialising, children up late, early morning footsteps… Sadly no restaurant/drinks served at sunset - we went next door to the excellent Rainbow Restaurant.

Our favourite place we stayed in India! Definitely worth paying a bit more for the lake front rooms - incredible views. We were on the first floor so the water temperature & pressure were good. Kind and helpful staff! Thanks for a brilliant stay :)

Wonderful big room with great views from balcony and private terrace overlooking the lake on the top floor. Comfortable hard wooden beds with tipical indian wool mattresses. Nice wood walls decorated with baeutifull paintings. The place is very clean and very well cared. Big bathroom. Very good central location within short walking distance to main sights and markets. Quiet area in the middle of busy streets. Good breakfast a la carte in the terrace. Good place to explore Udaipur. Very familiar atmosfere. We had a perfect stay.

Superb location, spacious room. Nice breakfast on rooftop terrace with top view of the lake Go for the rooms in the upper floors..

Basic services in bathroom, insufficient water pressure in the shower. The A/C did not work in reverse so we could not heat the room. Given the price , this should be fixed. It was not too chilly though, but might get worse if temperatures drop further (it was approx 12 degrees in the morning outside)

Hébergement bien situé. La vue sur le lac où nous prenions le petit déjeuner.

Beautifully decorated Haveli, in perfect location, overlooking the lake and its islands and the hills beyond, crowned by Monsoon Palace in the distance. Excellent breakfast and dinners on roof terrace, friendly and very helpful staff.
