Olas Permanentes El Zonte

Always a mystery to show up to a place booked online. That is what travel is all about though an i right? My room is small with a giant bed and air conditioning is on and ready. For me this is what i need, as i am surfing and enjoying the waves directly in front of the hotel. I rented a board from the hotel and went out to enjoy my afternoon well past the sun setting. The room is dark when the lights go out so i know im about to get that sleep and be ready for dawn patrol.

It’s not a big deal to me but if you mind sharing a bathroom, outside of your room you may have a problem with it. I’m sure there are rooms here with there own bathrooms but i went with the bottom floor shared space. No problem at all

The place was under construction, with dirt and dust everywhere. When we booked we were sent an email about this, but the works were supposed to be over by the end of November, instead they were in full swing. My wife is allergic to dust so we couldn't stay there. We had to look for another place to stay.

El personal fue muy amable

Salimos a cenar y hemos retornado al lugar a las 10:30 pm aproximadamente, y nadie estaba pendiente al respecto nos tocó dejar el carro afuera y nos costó que nos abrieran la puerta esperamos alrededor de 20 minutos

They were doing building works and it was noisy and disruptive. I had an early taxi for the airport and they started hammering at 9pm at night 2 rooms from me - simply outrageous. I had to fight them to get them to stop which they did at 9:45pm!

Beautiful view of beach, nice size rooms and good food

No complaints, looking forward to going back and seeing finished renovations
