Garden room in nice grounds , very warm welcome from helpful staff and good Value for money,

Only slight downside would be the walk from parking area to lodge especially if wet weather. Not suitable for people with mobility issues as paths are chipped and uneven

Staff accidentally booked me for 2 rooms after given free upgrade. Double charged and was tricky at first cancelling payment and shouldn't have happened. Although fixed, overall handling wasn't the best or reassuring.

The location is beautiful, the property is outstanding.

Stayed here for a wedding and wished I booked an extra day. There was a hottub and chimnea. We had a family room with two bunk beds and double bed. There was a full kitchenette with coffee machine and microwave. Lovely settings as always and lady on reception was very friendly. Bathroom was a good size with nice shower with great water pressure ! Gardens were really pretty and well looked after.

Signposting for rooms and to the Joiners Arms to avoid the main road could do with improvement but they clearly improving the hotel every day

We were attending a wedding there and the staff were extremely helpful and always around to help

Only thing is walking to garden rooms in heels on the gravel paths is extremely difficult and could actually ruin some shoes

The fact we were attending a wonderful wedding. Fabulous location. Great good.
