Hotel The Savode - Just 2 Mins From Golden Temple Amritsar

Very good location,clean and very friendly staff.

Location. It is about 700 meters from Golden Temple.

The room has no window and smoking was not sllowed indide the room.

Breakfast was a decent array of options in their buffet. Rooms were clean Polite staff This hotel is located within a short walking distance to the Golden Temple. It was relatively safe going/coming back from the Temple at night, with a lot of people walking about

Staff very helpful. Room very clean and comfortable bed. Location was fine.

I mistakenly thought that there was a bar, but like many places in Amritsar there was no beer.

Amazing location, friendly staff and decent food. It's approx 5-7 minute from darbar sahib complex. There's plenty of rickshaws that travel Infront of the hotel too so easy to get around. I would also visit dera Baba Nanak from this hotel, about an hour distance.

Better ventilation for the bathrooms

Hotel is extremely close to the golden temple so had the chance to go there 7 times. The market is also close. The staff at the hotel are very nice. the rooms are compact and stylish with very clean washrooms.

Would be nice if you introduced regular drinking water in glass bottles for your guests instead of 500 ml plastic bottles to save the planet from plastic pollution.
