Doonside Hotel, Blacktown

Room was large. Staff were helpful & friendly

Room smelt of smoke & alcohol. Bed sheets had cigarette burn holes in them. No power points near bed, so I had to move bed to them so my cpap machine could be used. The shared toilet was a little bit too far from the room. There was no elevator, only stairs up to the rooms.

Friendly staff! Property was clean and user friendly

Sheets were dirty / they could have done something about the peeling paint everywhere / carpets are old / windows are the frosted type and the noise from the vent that continued during the whole night. Disappointing

Very noisy no insulation between rooms or outside was very difficult to sleep or relax

Room was cheap and had the amenities expected. Stayed here specifically because I only planned to really sleep there. So it had everything I wanted for that price point. Good price if looking for a cheap room.

Honestly exactly as I expected.
