"Lovely little hotel"

10.0

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely hotel for 2 nights.they were in the process of renovating it when I arrived and I'm sure when it's finished it will be fantastic. The location is excellent, right off the main street and a few minutes walk from the bus station. The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the breakfast excellent. The room I stayed in was quite small and once it has been decorated would look much nicer. It was spotlessly clean and had a little balcony overlooking the street, it is a bit noisy but it's in the middle of the town so expected. Overall a fantastic stay, I wouldn't hesitate to return.

"STINKS!"

2.0

Having found this scruffy place down what must be one of Beziers' scruffiest streets, we opened the door of the hotel and were knocked back by the smell. Was it damp, poor hygiene, sweat , dogs? or all of the above? It was horrid, but we had a booking so had to go ahead with it. Chap on reception was friendly enough but then we had to find our way up the sticky staircase carpet to our room. The stair rail stopped and started on the way up, a bit disconcerting on a tight spiral staircase. The room was overlooking a street of dubious nature, the dubious people keeping us awake throughout the night. Thankfully we hadn't booked breakfast there, no way could you sit in that little dining area and eat! not in that smelly place. Whilst very central for Beziers town, I wouldn't stay there again.

"Noisy - bring ear plugs!"

4.0

Great location but without double glazing - it was incredibly noisy with cars, pedestrians etc through the night! It was also a glass door onto a tiny balcony rather than a window. As the room didn’t have air conditioning or a fan - we had to leave the window/door open so not great for sleeping or security! Very cheaply done but I have to say that the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Apparently, new owners who plan to refurb this later this year.

"Very Warm Welcome!"

10.0

We needed a cheap hotel in the centre of Beziers and was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We stayed a week (for the rugby). The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom which seemed to be on a squint...... but to be fair, most pavements are the same! The only downside was the lack of air conditioning but the room had a portable fan so we kept that on all night and slept fine (other than the street cleaners starting work early -but hey - the streets are clean too) .

"Quirky, comfortable family run Hotel with most charming hostess"

10.0

We arrived on bicycles. Marie made us very welcome and the location (close to restaurants and supermarkets) and was perfect for our short stay in Beziers. After a comfy night and yummy breakfast we were all set to continue with our adventure.

"Exactly as expected "

8.0

We wanted a room on a budget for a nights stay while passing through Bezier . This little hotel hit the spot. From the moment we arrived everything was made easy. We arrived earlier than check in but were offered check in as our little room was ready. We managed to park for free just outside in the road too. The hotel is quaint and although not luxurious the decor is lovely and it's spotlessly clean. All in all great for a stop over and I would stay again. The location is also perfect but bring earplugs as can get a little noisy outside in the evening but very quiet through the night.

"An oasis of warm welcome"

10.0

Hotel Confort is a little, home-like hotel. The proprietor, Marie, offers a friendly welcome as does cute little Carina, the dog. Rooms are painted brightly, the bed is very comfortable (great mattress) and the bathroom is small but adequate. It's very close to restaurants and sights and feels very safe. The breakfast is a treat, with a mix of croissant and excellent baguette, including delicious whole wheat. At the moment there's a lot of renovation construction going on in Beziers, which is a bit of a nuisance but we did not find a problem with this, apart from the unsightly scaffolding on the street.

"Good hotel to stay for a night"

8.0

I came by plane and needed a quiet and simple place to stay for one night, at a reasonable distance from the train station, to start on a railway journey. Hôtel Confort offered a modest room, which fitted my needs (and helped me to avoid unnecessary spending). The room was clean, the bathroom was good. The owner was very friendly and polite, and it was a pleasure to have a conversation with her (with a glass of water) on arrival. There was much noise in the streets, however, on account of both building activities in adjacent houses and extensive cleaning of a nearby square. But the owner could not help either. I should have kept the window closed, perhaps... If I ever return to Béziers, this is a good place to return to.

"Awful"

2.0

Awful, we chose this place based on location and reviews. I am lost for words location is down a side street in a very down at heel area of the town it is admittedly only a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. The balcony of the laughably named deluxe room looks straight into the living room of the flat across the street we could see and hear their TV. The owner has a dog which barks to announce the movement of guests which is all the time. As I said we'd gone for the deluxe room so can't imagine how small and cramped the standard was. On our booking form it stated we had use of the executive lounge and library area (the foyer worth an old dining table a few chars and some books on the window sill) we booked for 4 nights through booking . Com we stayed for 1 - it is clean but it's not what it says it is and it's so noisy sleep isn't easy.

"Ideal location"

8.0

We had a room on the first floor in the front of the building, which was very quaint, but comfortable. It was inclined to get noisey early in the morning when the street cleaner went past a couple of times!! The owner was very pleasant and a mine of information, helping us sort out places of interest and restaurants to eat at. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better as it was in walking distance of the rail station, the bus station and the city attractions. The poets park is also near by and worth a visit.
