Hôtel Confort

Only in Beziers for one night but very pleasantly surprised at the genuinely warm welcome I received from Marie, the owner. She gave me a choice of quiet rooms, recommended a small restaurant not far away and upon departure, kindly showed me a short cut to the navette bus stop to the airport. The accommodation is simple and comfortable; breakfast, freshly prepared and usually served in your room. I'd certainly book here again.

My friend and I were pleasantly surprised to be greeted with such hospitality in a quiet French town near the Mediterranean. We had called ahead and made a reservation on one day notice.(It was a Sun eve). The proprietor of the hotel(Marie) speaks English quite well. She is friendly, helpful in directing us around town and had the best croissants for breakfast that I had in all of my stay in France. The room was clean, comfortable and convenient. It is located near a beautiful city garden.

Found this little place in the centre of Beziers. Owner Marie is very welcoming and knowledgeable..... nothing is too much trouble. Quirky rooms but clean and comfortable. Worth a stopover or longer stay.

Excellent location and Marie was always there to help with bus and train times. This is value for money and is just a nice place to stay. You'll love the wee dug, (Scottish for small dog), Carina she's lovely. Marie explained that she "appeared on the doorstep one evening looking for a room". Obviously needing TLC after a tough life, and she's stayed with the hotel there ever since. That tells you everything about the genuine people looking after you. I flew into Beziers and stayed for one night before making my way to the start of the Cathar Way. The room I was in was small without being cramped. It was clean, good value, and I slept well. The shower area was a little primitive but worked ok. The owner is a lovely, sweet and helpful person. I was interested to read others' comments that she has excellent English. She must also have a sense of humour as she let me rabbit on in my far from perfect French!

Arrived 11am and sweet owner let us into the room early. Very helpful and friendly owner with excellent spoken English and German. Great breakfasts, hotel very central and excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend
