Hotel Machos Mahahual

The Hotel is right on the beach and walking distance to all the bars. Went for a fishing tournament and the hotel has everything you need for this purpose. There is a bar/restaurant on site. Being able to keep our boat right at our hotel is a super bonus. The staff is phenomenal and there to assist you for whatever you need. Will be back next year.

The hotel rooms could use some updating.

Very nice hotel, right on the beach. There is a nice pier with a shack at the end.

There are piles of dead seaweeds nearby, that does not smell good. But the hotel is not responsible for this.

Strong fish smell in the evening , noise ceiling fan and a.c. throwing, driping water.

Valladolid was wondering be of our favourite places we visited on our 3 week trip. It was close to the town square and the price was very reasonable. The pool area was small but very cool. We were directed to a great restaurant Cocinita Maya a few doors down and had one of the best meals of the trip at a very affordable price.

We loved that Machos was at the end of the Malecon, so we only heard a few partiers, but we could still easily walk to everything. The dock was beautiful and we really enjoyed swimming to the reef from the beach.

very helpful staff, clean room and nice beach with chairs. felt very comfortable. hot shower.

tour buses arrived in the afternoon so it got busy. very hard bed.
