Eka's Bungalows

- The lake was right at the door step. The view was absolutely phenomenal. - The place was clean and had everything we needed. - Plenty of food options nearby and walkable to the morning market.

- The road was very dark at night, so we made sure to return before the sunset. It worked out great for us because the sunset view shouldn't be missed anyway.

Wasn’t game to try the breakfast. I doubt the kitchen was clean. It probably was “normal” for A lot of Indonesian kitchens but hygiene standards were low in Sumatra.

They needed to remove all the wasp nests from the bathroom and bedroom.

nice bungalow,

no food or drink as restaurant closed ( went to Beach House next door). bit expensive. no soap and had to ask for loo paper. never met Eka.

very nice setting on the lake, great view and very nice atmosphere around the place

if the chairs had been slightly more comfortable, it would have been perfect ! But was still highly enjoyable

Lovely quite position, Eka was very helpful (including with organising the bikes and taxi service) and staff friendly.
