Cavo Maris Beach Hotel & Suites

Simply great. The room was modern, nice and clean. The meals were very good, and the staff was polite. The outdoor area is spacious and really nicely arranged. Definitely recommend!

Prio- Request a double bed, however the room provided had two single beds which is not so comfortable. The safety box in the room was broken

The gardens, the lovely set up of the hotel (restaurants,cafes). The kids buffet was an excellent addition. The presence of lifeguards is very important, especially for families with children

The property was massive and had great space to sit and chill by the pool and/or sea. The rooms were clean.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel, especially considering the price. We had booked a sea view room and were surprised to find it had a connecting door to the neighboring room. Initially, this didn't seem like an issue, but once guests checked in next door, we realized the soundproofing was extremely poor. We could hear everything — conversations, singing, children screaming, and general noise — through the connecting door, which was located right beside our bed. It felt like there was very little privacy for either room. To be clear, our issue was not with the family next door. We understand this is not an adults-only hotel. The problem was the room design and lack of sound insulation. We expected much better from a hotel of this standard. The staff and manager were very helpful and immediately moved us to another room when we raised our concerns. Unfortunately, the second room also had a connecting door and warned us about that but unfortunately they were fully booked and had no other vacancies. While the neighboring guests were quieter, we could still hear conversations clearly, and their child woke us up at around 8:00 AM every morning of our stay. We also requested a softer pillow, which housekeeping kindly provided, but it had a strong moldy smell, making it unusable. My boyfriend ended up sleeping on the original hard pillow and woke up with jaw pain. Other details throughout the stay made the hotel feel below 4-star standard. The pool was constantly crowded with children, the no-diving rule was not enforced, and breakfast lacked some basic options and convenience, such as having oat or lactose-free milk available near the coffee station. The staff were genuinely accommodating whenever we needed help, and that was the highlight of our experience. However, due to the poor soundproofing, lack of privacy, and several smaller issues, we would not choose to stay here again.
