Hotel Elefant Family Business

The location was great with parking close by and discounted by the hotel. Rooms are large and bathrooms too. Breakfast was good with a reasonable selection.

On a couple of occasions we were made to feel unwelcome when sitting outside at the hotel on the table and chairs, even though we explained we were residents. There are multiple lifts to access your room which can be confusing however it’s a few buildings joined together so I guess that’s to be expected.

Really beautiful quaint hotel in Old Market Square area of the city. Quiet streets at night and vibrant during the day. Walking distance to all that you want to see and do in Salzburg

Auf den ersten Blick schien alles ordentlich und sauber, doch der Blick auf dem Waschtisch in das Papp-Schächtelchen (in welchem sich wohl mal Reisenecessaire oder kleine Hygieneartikwl befunden haben 🤔 ? - die waren nicht mehr drin) ekelte mich: Schimmel in der Schachtel. An der Rezeption zeigte ich abends diese Schachtel. Eine sehr junge Frau sagte mir nur: "Ich gebe es weiter...." Und der Fernseher in diesem Souterrainzimmer hing auf dem schmalen Durchgang ins Badezimmer immer im Weg. Für große Leute ungeeignet. Ansonsten war alles in Ordnung

Amenities in the room were very nice.

Our room was in a different building to the reception and it was not completely accessible without stairs. Also, the staff did not bring our bags to our room and called us to say they left it in front of the lift so we had to go get it ourselves!
