SANDOZ Pribson Hotel near Golden Temple

Clean rooms & good service

The hotel itself is perfectly adequate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff is very friendly.

But the problem with the Pribson is its location. It is off center right on a very busy road underneath an overpass. There is nowhere to go to eat in the neighborhood and going anywhere is a hassle and takes time. There are much better options in Amritsar for a similar price.

Hotel owner were so warm and made us feel at home.

It was about 7 mins in an auto to the Golden Temple

There was no lift or slope for the guy's to take our luggage up to the hotel so the poor guy was dragging them. We had 2 rooms both had no hot water and in 1 room the bedsheets were dirty and stained. When checking out we had to take our own luggage room the room until we met the guy halfway. The fridge also was not working.

Location is fantastic. Service is impeccable. Staff go above and beyond.

Cleanliness could have been better. Towels were not provided. Open wiring in the bathroom where phone was missing. Felt I was taken advantage of being from the UK by management.

The rooms were large and clean and the temple/markets were easily accessible

The staff were incredibly untrained and unprofessional. Any time we requested the reception team for anything (water, taxi booking, etc), it was either not understood or not noted down and we kept having to ask over and over. We got served the wrong thing twice at the restaurant and the waiting staff were clearly not trained for the job.

Breakfast variety was good and having a restaurant on site was added bonus. They served very tasty meals. They made arrangements for us to go to the Golden Temple. That was awesome and peaceful as well.

Hotel front parking/ ambient could be more welcoming to the guest checking in.
