Breakfast was a buffet in the room, nice greek style yoghurt, museli. fresh muffins and fruit. tea and coffee making facilities. There was a little fridge in the room which was really handy

Would have been nice to have had somewhere to sit to eat breakfast, but that's a minor detail

The most beautiful room! Everything was amazing. The host’s were very welcoming and friendly. There was a slight issue with the heating, but they ensured this was fixed immediately and brought us a bottle of Prosecco to make up for the slight inconvenience! The best nights stay! Will be returning :)

Only one pillow, didn't tell us wifi code, tv picture gone so could only make out shadows. No reception or bar area which we didn't realise as we knew about the hotel from a while ago when it still had these facilities, bedside tables too far away from the bed to be of any use and no soap left in the dispenser by the sink - general feeling of no one caring too much and didn't feel like a hotel

We have just returned from a Christmas two night stay at this absolutely perfect hotel. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, very accommodating and really couldn't do enough to make us comfortable, despite it being Christmas! We were upgraded to a simply stunning suite and in that we found everything we could possibly want or need. Our very spoiled pooch was also accommodated and very well cared for. We visit Norfolk regularly as we have several family members living there and we have stayed in a variety of great hotels in recent years, but this goes straight in at the top of the list. Great value for money, comfortable bed, clean room & we were lucky enough to receive a complimentary breakfast too! We will definitely be back - luxury accommodation at affordable prices - we'd be mad not to!

Quirky

The owners/hosts were extremely welcoming and took time to explain the history of the hotel and its buildings. They offered helpful tips on local places to eat and drink. The hotel location is discretely down a small road right in the centre of Swaffham. Very central yet still incredibly peaceful and quiet. We had ‘the Stables’ which is a very large room/suite in the courtyard away from the main building. It was so spacious and a wonderful experience. The room was a combination of classic theatre style, quirky, artistic but also very functional. We felt at home straight away and absolutely loved the stay. An excellent experience. We will return when next in Norfolk.
