Nothing well organised with a relaxed atmosphere.

Property smelt of damp. Room smelt of damp kettle has slimy water still in. Nowhere to park as owner stated we needed to rebook parking Tv had no signal

Location was very good

It was very outdated. Smelt of mints. Toilet didn't flush, shower was cold all the time. Needed a deep clean. Wallpaper hanging off. Toilet mess on bedding.

The only thing tht was rong was the shower wasn't hot

If the owner didn’t come into our room whist I was sleeping and my mrs woke up to him in our room our time to tease was 10am the man came into our room we don’t know how long he was in are room for what he was doing in our room we are two young woman who got rather scared waking up To him in our room.

Arrived and the standard was poor there was damp in the room with the curtains hanging dangerously from a pole that was hanging of the TV didn't work and no WiFi as advertised the manager did offer to change our room to see if we could get a WiFi connection however it wasn't possible and the room standard remained poor that said it was a inexpensive room and for the price it would of suited many as the location was good but not myself with a family within 15 minutes of arriving we left and booked another hotel more suitable

Great Staff Very Welcoming

The staff were very friendly and location is great, very close and central and on the sea front.

As soon as you walk in the smell of damp dogs was very strong, the room was dirty, the carpet had lots of bits on, the shower had black mould around the shower tray, the wallpaper was peeling off the wall, there was damp in the bathroom. The coffee and tea tray was brown and sticky and had coffee all over it. The picture fell off the wall onto our heads as we sat down on the bed, it was only held on by a tiny bent nail. There was a bit of poo on one of the white towels. We did speak to the owner about the cleanliness of the room and he did say he had cleaners but it had definitely not been cleaned before our stay. He did apologise and said he'd follow it up and check but I won't stay at the Cowley again.
