Amazing host, very friendly and welcoming The room was cosy and very quiet despite being close to bars and it being a Saturday night, we slept like babies Also incredibly accommodating for our dog offered bowls and to look in if we wanted to go out Will definitely stay here again 🥰

Not for someone who can't do stairs I bet you could get a lower room if requested and available

The only thing to like is on beach front and location.

The lack of cleanliness as soon as entering the hotel, didn't expect luxury for what we paid for the night but when we got to the room which was advertised as a luxury twin with small en suite the state it is in is awful the cleanliness or lack of , peeling wallpaper on walls and ceilings , headboards on both beds not attached to bed so slid sideways by the morning, couldn't get WiFi signal in room on second floor , TV had no signal for hours until we found that connection to a booster behind TV was loose and fixed it , the bedding was clean which is the only positive I can say about the room , the shower head was a round rubber nozzle sticking out the wall and mold on and between shower tiles overhead which some were loose, in my opinion the room shouldn't be rented out until issues are addressed and get times are hard for folk in current climate and rooms need to be let , but overall you expect general standard of cleanliness and decor of a room regardless of what you pay ,

There was nothing to dislike

The location was good, even tho it was quite close a massive pub. Very easy for anyone to reach either side of the promenade on foot. The owner was pleasant and quite helpful with my pram and son. They did give us a room with a bed close to the wall, as requested.

Unfortunately it was very dirty. Entering the property there is a weird smell and the place is run down. In the room there was no signs of cleanliness. I don't know if being pet friendly justifies the smell and the hair found in the room. Thick dust on surfaces, including kettle! Floor hasn't been hoovered and in the bathroom there was an empty toilet roll tube and a button. There was hair and even a dead moth on the bed sheets. I had to wipe the dust of some surfaces, including, kettle, coat hangers and toilet, which is not exactly what someone who pays should do. It really looked like the room has been left unused for months and nobody took the time to check and refresh it. There was no hot water on the evening and in the morning only after 8:30 am. I had a day on the beach with my son so I had to boil the kettle and use an empty water bottle to wash ourselves. If the system is on a timer it should be clearly displayed on site and the rooms! It really is a run down room with heavily peeling wallpaper, window doesn't close properly and shower cubicle is rusty and falling apart. Although it was cheap I could have taken a room somewhere else, same rating, even cheaper because is no breakfast included anyway. If it was just the decorative part of the room I would have been less inclined to feel dissatisfied. Unfortunately it wasn't a room fitted for paying guests at all!

Very welcoming host when we booked in , nothing was too much for him very friendly ,big family room and clean and had everything was needed for a family of 4 ,and the added extra what made the kids day was watching baby seagulls out of the window as we was on the top floor which my kids loved will recommend and deffo will be going back xx
