Cowley Hotel

While at the Cowley,we were welcomed by John.Before we got back to the Cowley,we got a phone call,which led us to having to return home on a family emergency. Thanks John.

The room was dirty no hot water for shower or a wash smelt of dog and dog wee electric extension cables everywhere shower knob to turn shower on came of cus it was broken and didn't work and I know booking.com don't rate there hotels but I won't use booking.com again and we will book the Cowley hotel for dangerous electric extension leads and we do have a video if you would like to view it

The place was smelly of a dog that was disgusting, the room was not cleaned. No hot water in the bathroom. Dust on drawers, bedsheets covered with stains. No fridge, no microwaves provided, no iron. I did travel with my daughter's and myself foods because we are allergics to certain foods but we were denied to warm food and store it to the fridge we had nothing to do just to throw them. My daughter ended up being sick for eating takeaway down there.. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. Will never recommend the plmace fo anyone. Except the location nothing else wqs interesting

Was the main reason we booked there but we were given a room on the back tried to explain to the agent who did not even listen it was an awful experience

We got what we paid for and very affordable as a group of 4 sharing room & the cost , right by everything we needed to do & go stone throw away to the beach, owner John very friendly we took his advice for nearest places to visit, we was out all day & most of the evening (late) maybe came back a bit loud lol ooops but John never said anything next day apart from did you all have a good day/ night . Oh and big mirrors everywhere,love them 😁😁😁

The stairs was too many depending which room you get , again John very helpful with carrying cases up😊

Location was fab. Owner was so friendly. Rooms were basic but got what we paid for.

Spent two nights with my wife and was a good place to stay. It’s very close to every event you desire.

The rug needs a quick dry and maybe some freshener as well. Anyone with a sensitive nose would notice. But every other thing was good.

John was lovely! Comfy bed and quiet hotel!
