Villa Malaika

It is peaceful and beautiful outside at the pool area. Food was ok.

I don't recommend the studio with Seaview. Other rooms are significantly better. The studio room (basically a tent) immediately feels claustrophobic as soon as you enter, and there is a huge glass floor that takes up big part of the space - no idea what it is for. Also, the description for that room says infinity pool. There is no such thing. That room also has no private access.

Great villas with big spaces, big pool, and restaurant in great location

It was right on the beach. The view was good.

I ask for a table to be moved to my room for su set dinner and it was not agreed and room service was offered at additional cost Crazy

The property is beautiful! We stayed in a family suite with two bedrooms, three bathrooms and a huge open plan living area with a fridge, coffee machine and mini bar. There are some really thoughtful touches such as a water cooler in your room. Guido,the owner, is very present and always helpful. Breakfast was awesome and the food at other times was great too. It was also in walking distance of some other great places to eat. This is the best place I have stayed in in Zanzibar.

Incredible location, fantastic service with attention to everything, and good facilities

Excellent place to stay in Zanzibar. Staff is perfect and very kind, and such à quiet place with à direct access on the lovely beach. We fully recommend Villa Malaika, we were so happy of our choice !

Nothing

Everything was perfect and I can not emphasis that enough. The hotel is right on the beach in front of the Indian Ocean. The sound of the ocean was so soothing at night and we had the best sleep. Being able to leave your room and step right on beach was amazing. The Wi-Fi connection was strong which was quite important to us because my boyfriend still has to word on our vacation. I celebrated my birthday and the staff and hotel manager went above and beyond to make me feel special. Our room is cleaned daily and in the evening a cleaner comes to ensure the our room is prepared for us to sleep which was such a lovely touch and makes you feel refreshed before bed. The hotel Resturant was one of the best meals we have had in Zanzibar so we opted to eat here throughout our stay. I loved the passion fruit juice which was literally picked from a tree at the hotel and freshly blended. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, freshly made with numerous options. All the staff were so welcoming and ready to help. The hotel manager kindly helped us organise a scooter during which was fun to travel around the island with. Never stayed at a hotel where a solo everything was perfect. Glad we stayed at Villa Malaika and I cannot wait to visit again.
