Villa Vager Mani Hotel

Wonderful stay and highly recommended. The suite we stayed in is luxurious and beautifully designed. The village is rustic and very quiet with a beautiful sandy beach only a few minutes away by car and good places to eat both in the village and down by the sea. The final touch is the incomparable breakfast served each morning on your own personal sun terrace.

We spent a wonderful week staying in the ground level suite (Jungle) beautifully decorated by Marina Vager like all the suites. We didn’t see the other rooms, but all seem to have private terraces - so there doesn’t seem to be a lot to choose between them. The views from the private terrace to the sea from our suite were absolutely beyond compare, and we were royally looked after with a wonderful breakfast served by George each morning as soon as we were ready. Nikolas Vager was extremely helpful in providing us with all the advice we needed on the best places to visit including Mystras and Ancient Messine. Close by in the village is an excellent Taverna, also with wonderful views, and, best of all, is Santova Beach only a few minutes drive down a mountain road to the coast. This is a sandy local beach with all the facilities you could need and not a tourist hotel in sight ! If you want to experience a genuine taste of rural Greece without a hint of package tourism, this the place to stay, although a car is essential.

We absolutely loved our stay in Villa Vager Mani in April! The room (which is actually 2 rooms) was large enough to accommodate us and our adult children. The views from the room are so beautiful that even hanging out in the room was a pleasure, we felt so close to nature! We stayed in the Blue Room which has an adorable private balcony where we had our breakfast (breakfast was delivered to our room in the morning within minutes of us sending a whatsapp message). Service was impeccable and personable. We were given the best tips on places to visit and there are plenty of attractions in the area to warrant a long stay. It’s a pity we only had a few days to explore as there is a lot to see. We will definitely be returning in the summer for a longer vacation. Villa Vager Mani feels like a home away from home.

Atmospheric traditional stone-built "tower", with spacious rooms, great views, delicious breakfast and very friendly owners. Located in a small, quiet village with just a few taverns hidden in its alleys, serving mouth-watering home-made local dishes. Far enough from noisy touristic spots yet close enough to Mani's beautiful beaches and mountains, as well as to Kalamata vibrant city. Great experience overall.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay.The weather was amazing and the beach was 5 minutes driving from the hotel. Also the local food was delicious and the rooms are gigantic,very clean and really comfortable if someone wants to chill.Lastly our experience was a 10/10 for sure!! I loved it!

Villa Vager Mani is the perfect base for exploring everything the area has to offer. It is a beautiful, honey coloured building, sympathetically restored, has lovely furnishings and a very comfortable bed. There are wonderful views from the many outside areas. Breakfast is of very good quality and plentiful. Would definitely return.
