Beaumont Hotel and Holiday Park

Absolutely wonderfull experience, the staff are all so lovely and you can tell that they really care about the place. Food is fantastic for the price you pay and the hotel rooms are really clean and tidy.

The hotel itself is fine. Nice ambiance and good food.

The booking was for a queen room with shared facilities. We presumed we would be staying in the hotel. Not so. We got allocated a cabin (made out of same material as coolstore) which contained 2 single beds, a bedside table and a tv. Not much room for anything else. No bedding supplied apart from fitted sheet and pillow. No towels or toiletries provided. Shared facilities with campsite a short walk away across the lawn. Kitchen provided but substandard. Hotel itself is fine for drinking and dining.

I recently stayed at the cabin and was overall quite satisfied with my experience. The bed was comfortable (only sheets and a pillow were provided- as advertised). The price was good for what was offered, making it a great value. The bathroom, located conveniently close by, was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated for the price range. One of the highlights for me was the covered outdoor seating area, which provided a comfortable and sheltered space to relax.

One downside of my stay was the check-in process, which took place at the pub. While not a huge issue, it felt a bit awkward and less streamlined than expected. Additionally, the staff wasn't particularly friendly during check-in, though I do recognize that I visited during a busy time of year, which may have contributed to their rush. Despite this, it didn't detract too much from the overall experience.

Staff were super kind and welcoming. Cute little bar/restaurant and felt very homey/local there. The facilities were clean and there was basically no one else there so had the whole bathroom/area to myself. Good for short visit

I booked the room because Booking.com has the cover picture as a bed with linens, and when I arrived they said you need a sleeping bad or my own bed sheets for it, so I had to pay extra money to stay in the hotel room instead. The owner apologized and said that confuses people a lot so I think they should make that more obvious (I looked again after and there is a note about not having linens but it’s not obvious) so just be careful of that.
