Hotel du Rempart

L'emplacement. La vue. L'accueil chaleureux

Un lit une personne avec matelas ressorts épouvantables, inconfortable. Le grand lit était bien ! Le rideau de douche noir, bof. Impression d'être enfermé car pas de lumière au dessus de la douche.

Helaas was het weer slecht toen we aankwamen, en het schemerde ook al. Jammer,anders konden we genieten van een mooi uitzicht vanuit onze kleine, maar fijne kamer. In de kamer was een waterkoker, een grote moderne tv, het was er heerlijk warm. Ook de badkamer kon goed worden verwarmd. Er stonden 2 fauteuils en 1 rechte stoel. We hebben lekker gedineerd in het restaurant, en het ontbijt was netjes verzorgd. Er is een lift. Er is parkeergelegenheid in de buurt van het hotel. Bij het hotel hoort een groot terras.

De badkamer is te bereiken via 2 traptreetjes die niet zijn geaccentueerd en zeker 's nachts moet je dus extra opletten. Bij de waterkoker was 1 kopje en de thee was niet aangevuld.

An older hotel with plenty of character. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was rather spartan/tired but warm and the bed was comfortable. View from the room over the surrounding vineyards was spectacular. Shower had plenty of hot water but shower head had to be held by hand which we found awkward. Breakfast was typical French style and ok. Restaurant in the evening was very good with a reasonable choice and really excellent food (we ate there both nights of our stay). Parking was on the road just up from the hotel and was free. We would happily stay there again when visiting Sancerre.

La situation, le restaurant et le personnel

Le prix du petit déjeuner un peu excessif pour une famille de 3 (42 euros au total alors que dîner 95 euros avec apéro vin 3 plats et 1 dessert …)
