Hotel du Rempart

Petit déjeuner style continental sans prétention mais qui répond largement au standard attendu notamment pour un hôtel 2* J'ai bénéficié d'une chambre refaite récemment et digne d'un standing plus élevé comme dans les chaines hôtelières très connues.

La décoration dans les espaces communs et certaines chambres qui méritent d'être rafraichies comme celle que j'ai eu la chance d'occuper

Petit bémol: pas d'eau chaude à la douche le dimanche matin malgré plusieurs essais.

Comfortable newly refurbished room ( 202), good dinner in the restaurant - on a Sunday night in December. Overall good value and easy parking in the street. Great views over the Sancerre countryside which we didn’t see due to thick fog.

I asked for a room with a bath as advertised, but the new rooms only have showers. We looked at the older rooms and said no thanks. The place is a bit chaotic but the staff were friendly so all was well.

自転車を安全な雨が当たらない場所に保管してくれました。案内してくれた若い女性は感じの良い方でした。

ご年配のスタッフの方がチックイン・チェックアウト時に対応してくれましたが、親切ではなかったです。フランス語が話せなかったからなのかな・・・少し残念でした。
