Lovely place to stay close to Offas Dyke (about 0.3 miles off trail). The hotel had a very open clean feel. The staff were great and welcoming. The room itself was very comfortable and well appointed. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and my husband enjoyed breakfast (15gbp upcharge). Definitely recommend this hotel.

TV signal was a little spotty at times. Pastries at breakfast would be appreciated.

Beautiful setting nice clean hotel.

Very under staffed no one on reception when checking in. No bbc television reception struggled to get anything tuned in on tv. Only one staff on at breakfast no waiters. Very expensive breakfast £15 each.

Breakfast very poor room average but noisy shower very small and no shampoo

Smell of feet filled the air had to gasp n run to open the window, luckily enough we had air fresheners but the smell was still there. There wasn’t any complimentary toiletries ☹️ which was a first for us, no fans that we could use also. The food was standard but pricey, they could have offered alternative food less pricey. Charged £30.00 per person for the privilege for swimming which we found disgusting!! Also charged for “bath robes n towels “ shame on you 😝 we’re not usually this aggressive with our comments but paying for the pleasure for swimming should be also included… Sorry not a happy camper! Location was lovely

There was one bath towel for two guests and the mirror in the room fell off during the night and hit my partner. All the amenities close early on a Sunday so not ideal

Pleasant location near the north wales express way. Generous breakfast Helpful staff

Room was very warm as it was a warm night and radiator, which was on zero setting, was slightly warm all night.
