The staff were helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. There was plenty of space to park my car within the hotel grounds. A good location to access other places I wished to visit.

First room given was noisy from extractor fans from the kitchens and heating/cooling systems. That resulted in a disturbed first night. The staff changed our room for the second night. Breakfast had to be ordered at least the day before. We were unaware of this and so our first breakfast was delayed. No yoghurt available. Guests had to collect tea and coffee, cups, saucers, side plates and condiments from a buffet and carry them to the table. The tea was of poor quality. I had a full English breakfast that was well cooked but the bacon was very salty.

Comfortable clean rooms, good food

Room 5 is next to the air con/extractor fans which started VERY early which isn’t great when you need a good nights rest. Although there was tea & coffee some water would have been nice.

Told that the spa required a payment of £15.00 each for 2 hours not told it closed at 6 o’clock so got told to leave at 6pm and only paid to go in at 5 pm !!!

. Food was good and staff were pleasant and helpful.

TV failed to work properly

Lovely property but had an issue with one of the emergency lights in the room. kept flashing like a strobe at night going from pitch black to very bright and couldn’t sleep as it was a faulty light ! Made a complaint next day and got told to email, emailed and got ignored, sent message on booking.com and got ignored so they clearly don’t care ! was leaving doing a review until i heard back but they never contacted ! Could do with installing Air Con in room, arrived to what felt like an oven with all windows shut.
