The Creggans Inn

Food, glorious food - the breakfasts we had there were excellent and the one evening meal was exceptional. And then the location by the loch was simply stunning. There was also an upstairs lounge with breathtaking views. A great benefit to us was a lobby area which allowed us to keep two doors between the dog and other guests.

You have to accept that it's a creaky old hotel. When the people above us moved around we knew about it. The wiring was also very odd - if switches weren't on in the right order the lamps didn't work (!) but the staff sorted it out.

Convenient, quiet, clean. Catered to different diets.

Up and down several stairs, difficult for those with mobility issues

I have stayed at the Creggan's on a number of occasions over many years and it is always a delight to return. Everybody is extremely friendly, the hotel is extremely comfortable and the setting is glorious.

I found the bistro rather noisy which, due to my impaired hearing, made conversation slightly difficult. In years past the traditional dining room was much quieter.

Magnifique vue sur la mer. Accueil très agréable, bon resto. Chambre confortable.

Dinner & breakfast was delicious. Location is spectacular.

Decor & furniture was quite dated. Bed was too small.

Very uncomfortable bed! Slept very badly and woke up with a sore back! Very overpriced for the quality of the property
