Panorama Beach Hotel

The breakfast was great, the cook is actually a legit Chef. The location is great, there is a swimming spot a very short walk down the beach that has large stones in the ocean. They help calm down the waves for swimming. The staff and manager are very friendly and professional, you can tell they have a passion for providing the customers with a positive experience. Also, I would strongly recommend getting one of the rooms with air conditioning. Being able to cool down at the end of the day is amazing.

The room we were given (No. 14) was dirty and full of mould — there was visible mildew on the ceiling and walls, making it not only unpleasant but genuinely unhealthy. The bathroom was even worse, with an entire wall covered in grime and mould. To make things even worse, the bedsheets were stained with what appeared to be poorly washed traces of blood, which was absolutely unacceptable. It was shocking to see such poor maintenance in a place that calls itself a hotel. Due to the dirt and mould, we were forced to leave after just one night. Hotel’s photos are deliberately misleading — they completely hide the fact that the beach in front of the property is absolutely unsuitable for swimming. For the same price, you can easily find much better and cleaner accommodation in Tangalle.

The bathroom in the villa was very dated. The shower head fell off when using shower.

Nice rooms, good and calm location, breakfast was decent with a nice view on the sea. The price was definitely reasonable for the accodomation. The (local) people working at the place were also very friendly and helpful.

The host was not very warm and welcoming, but the people working imat the accomodation were definitely. We had the impression that the host was very friendly towards Russian (?) speaking visitors however we did not get any welcoming word or anything from her. The only time we heard her saying something was when we arrived, she yelled at the serving people that we had room XX.

The room we stayed in didn’t have privacy, sheer curtains facing main walkway, but other rooms did, we had to cover window ourselves.
