Shadow Surf Bay

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette guest house. Tout y était : un magnifique jardin, de supers hôtes, au calme, à 50 mètres d une magnifique plage où on peut se baigner. Petite supérette et des restaurants autours.

Shadow Surf Bay is the perfect place to discover the nice and quiet beaches around Tangalle! Close to lovely restaurants, a great beach to snorkel and the house, garden en breakfast are also wonderful!

Замечательная вилла с очень приятными хозяевами. Есть веранда с лежаками и видом на чудесный сад, на ней же проходит завтрак, который включен в проживание. Есть все необходимое для проживания, все очень чисто, без насекомых. До пляжа пару минут ходьбы

Wonderful and attentive host; excellent breakfasts; great location a stone’s throw from the beach; set in beautiful garden for bird watching; quiet, comfortable and with a/c for undisturbed sleeps; no mosquitos; great local food recommendations; AND an incredible fish supper put on by Pradeep. What more could you want?!

An oasis on the edge of the quiet and serene Unakuruwa beach. The host and his family were incredible and provided a stand out breakfast.

We felt very welcome by the (family) owners. Very kind people that are genuinely there to help you and make the best out of your stay. The breakfast was very tasty and abundant. It always included fresh fruit, omelette, local curd and local roti or coconut pancakes. Super nice! The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was great and the air conditioning worked well. The garden was beautifully maintained and quiet off the street with the sound of birds.

Wir verbrachten eine sehr schöne Woche im Shadow Surf Bay. Das Apartment liegt in einem wunderschönen Garten. Wir konnten viele Vögel beobachten, Streifenhörnchen laufen über die Äste, ein Pfau war oft auf den Nachbardächern und auch eine Affen Familie schaute mal vorbei. Auf der großen Terrasse mit Meerblick kann man sich wunderbar aufhalten. Der Unakuruwa Strand ist in einer Minute erreichbar. Er liegt geschützt und wir könnten immer schwimmen. Der riesige und wunderschöne Silent Beach ist in 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Ein absolutes Highlight ist das tägliche Frühstück! Es schmeckte uns sehr, war abwechslungsreich und so viel, dass wir noch etwas im Kühlschrank für später aufgehoben haben. Unser Vermieter Pradeep verwöhnte uns wirklich! Wir genossen die Gespräche mit ihm sehr. Er gab uns viele Tipps, fuhr mit uns im öffentlichen Bus nach Tangalle, lud uns abends zu einem köstlichen Fisch ein, brachte uns ayurvedische Suppe zum Frühstück... Vielen herzlichen Dank! Wir können das Shadow Surf Bay wärmstens empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder!

Gostei muito de tudo. Logo quando chegámos ofereceram nós um café e um bolo na varanda. Todas as refeições eram servidas na varanda com muita natureza a volta o que foi muito bom! A localização é perfeita muito perto da silent beach e de outra praia bonita. Também há muitos restaurantes nas proximidades muito bons. A família é muito simpática e ajudou nos a organizar os dias e a ver tudo o que queríamos nesta zona. O quarto era muito limpo e confortável e tinha tudo o que precisávamos. A melhor parte foi o pequeno almoço ficamos duas noites e nas duas manhãs tivemos um pequeno almoço diferente cheio de coisas típicas do sri Lanka.

Highly recommended. We stayed with our three children in the upstairs appartment. The accomodation is semi open plan with 2 bedrooms with large beds. Air con but the appartment stays cool due to welcome shade from the palms in the garden. The owner Pradeep is a kind man who looks after you and cares about your experience. The sri lankan breakfast was great - we ate on our own balcony with variety of things each day and the best sri lankan omelette. The appartment is just down a side lane off the beach road - its pretty quiet and the garden has lots of greenery and birds etc. This is a lovely village in the tangalle zone with a great beach for kids.
