The Blue Haze Weligama

We had the most delightful stay at Blue Haze in Weligama! This charming hotel felt just like home, thanks to the amazing owners who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The warm, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service truly stood out. We booked last minute, but it felt like we were family by the time we left. We can’t wait to return! Amazing hotel!❤️ We have stayed at this wonderful family-owned hotel several times, and it’s always fantastic! The hotel is fresh and comfortable, with air conditioning and hot water available, making the stay even more enjoyable. It’s perfectly located close to the beach, attractions, and the city center. The breakfast is exceptional – prepared with love and care, which truly shows. The friendly family running the hotel makes you feel warmly welcomed every time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good times!

The house and the rooms are very clean and mosquito-free. Also the staff is suuuper friendly.

It is located an 8-minute-Scooter drive from Weligama. BUT: There is a super cute and calm beach near the hospitality! I think it’s much nicer there than in crowded weligama.

This is third time we are staying in blue haze weligama. Like allways they treat us like a family. Made the best breakfast with several options. Best location. Close to the jungle beach wich is perfect for swimming. And close by other popular places like midigama, ahangama,weligama and mirissa. The Best place we stayed in Srilanka. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

That we had to leave ☹️

The property care taker was with full of attitudes. He locks the hotel door at night and we have to always ask him to open it and the response he was giving is such bad. The welcome itself was also full of attitudes and arrogant .And property has only a stand fan which is not enough for the room in this warm weather. Mainly his way of talking to us was pretty bad .No one to take luggage's to upstairs. Not welcoming local crowd and never want to go there again .First time experiencing that in a bookings booked property and fully disappointed .

Our stay was very nice. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. But the best thing is the lovely family who runs this place. They are all so warm-hearted and sincere. Breakfast was also one of the best we’ve had on our Sri Lanka trip. Thank you so much!

The only negative aspect is that the rooms don’t have AC and they get heated up extremely during the day. Sleeping is ok with the fan but in the daytime you can’t spend too much time in the room.
