River's Edge Resort

We love the cabin with marmots, songbirds, ducks, and Canadian geese that we can watch from the hot tub on our own private balcony. We stay here every year.

I always bring my own coffee.

We were headed over the north cascade hwy to the west side to visit family and found out the pass was closed due to a rock slide. We had booked that morning a couple hours before not knowing this which meant we would have a 200 mile trip out of the way to reroute. We called the resort office four times asking to please give us grace we needed to cancel. They never called us back. Booking.com reached out to them and said they refused to refund our money. We emailed them as well and no response. We expected to pay some fee but not the entire amount. That information about the pass being closed should have been disclosed. Very disappointed in how it was handled. We have traveled through Winthrop for many years and always enjoyed it, this experience has left us with a bad taste☹️

Right on the river. Nice deck. Comfortable couchs and king size bed. Full kitchen We had a deer come munch the plants in front of our deck and stick around for pictures!

The hot tub jets only had a few working, two cracks on the valves leaked one big one squirting in one of the six seats. And no shade in the hot afternoon sun shining in the living/dining room area. Microwave very old

Beautiful cabin

I wish I could get down to the river right there by the cabins. I thought I would been able to fish right there, but it was too steep to climb down.

Really rustic cabin, lots of charm. Deer, turkeys quail, wandered right through. Would stay again.

Bed firmer than @ home

Perfect location right in the middle of Winthrop with an amazing view by the river, close to waterfalls and North Cascades national park. Cabin is well furnished and well maintained. The hot tub is excellent, keeping hot water available for whenever you want to use it. The cabin environment is very cozy and comfortable, with the relaxing river’s flow sound and warming fireplace. Cleaning is one the most positive highlights in the cabin.
