The Bay Hotel

Really good and fancy hotel by camps bay. Nice neighborhood and structure. The breakfast is perfect and the staff is well trained.

Loved our stay here. Great location and views. Staff very friendly, professional and helpful. Great room and facilities. Bar and restaurant was great. Hope On Hop Off bus stops right opposite the hotel. Many restaurants in walking distance from the hotel but we ate at the hotel which was very good.

Location

The room description online suggested that we were booking a connecting room, which was one of the reasons we chose it as we were travelling with children. However, on arrival, it wasn't what we would consider a true connecting room. The rooms shared access to a small hallway, but this area was not private or secure. As a result, we couldn't safely leave both room doors open to allow easy access between rooms, which is typically the main benefit of a connecting room for families with young children. I feel the description could be clearer so that guests know exactly what to expect when booking.

Fantastic beachfront location with beautiful sunset views. The room was comfortable and well maintained, and the easy access to the beach made the stay even better. A relaxing and enjoyable experience overall. 🌅😊

The breakfast selection was quite repetitive and could benefit from more variety. The only downside to the room was the shower design, as it was not fully enclosed, causing water to splash onto the bathroom floor.

Had a sudden medical emergency and they could not have been more helpful.

That in the Capes often inclement winter weather there were many different places to sit with coffee a nice roaring fire and a good book.

It’s comfort in inclement weather and its close proximity to the v and A waterfront to meet friends for dinner.

Super breakfasts and really great staff at every level starting with the gate guard to the chef who actually gave me the receipe to his fantastic cheese cake!

Beautiful hotel, in a perfect location in Camp's Bay. Exceeded expectations on location. Staff & food was exceptional - in particular the cafe; lunch & evening BBQ offering. Highly recommend sampling. Beautiful spacious room. Exceptional spa treatments; offers & therapists. Rates alongside the best ever & we travel a fair bit to many different chains & locations.
