Good quality room with all facilities

Dirty corner on floor in bathroom, not much milk for coffee

Well presented accommodation. I would stay there again if visiting the area.

Lovely big room. The bed was very comfortable,tea and coffee making facilities, large wet room shower. Good size wardrobe and good heating and lighting.Nice breakfast.

There was a bit of a mixup with the rooms as someone was in my mother in law's and a friend's room already when we arrived but this was sorted out quickly by the staff.Other than that it was very good.

Spacious room, comfy bed, great for a wedding at Clearwell Castle nearby.

Breakfast was pretty average the first morning - stale bread rolls and no eggs.

Breakfast was fantastic and so were the staff at breakfast.

Toilet in our room seem very close to the wall, so not much elbow room.

Location to the wedding venue.

The room was cold and had not been cleaned thoroughly. Cup stain marks on the dressing table and bedside table . There were cobwebs and dead spiders in the bathroom. Which was very clear the bathroom had not been cleaned properly

Bedrooms were lovely, I liked how they were styled and they were very comfy. Bed was lovely and comfortable, we slept well. Some of the breakfast offerings such as the pastries and fruit Location was good and was convenient for everything we had planned during our trip to the area. We had a good meal at the butchers arms, this was a really helpful recommendation that we were given by the Wyndham.

Lack of staff presence, remote check in was not something I’d done before and it seemed strange not having much / any contact with staff at certain times like arrival/departure /breakfast. It felt a bit impersonal There were a few hitches at breakfast like bread rolls being put out which were discovered to have mould on and needed to be replaced, small jugs for milk so would run out quickly, some items lacking such as spoons for cereal and napkins. As a vegetarian it was also a shame that there was no warm options to cater for this, a few eggs being done would be a way that this could be done in future and would fit the roll concept along the same lines as the bacon and sausage. Toast as an option would also be good to go with the jams that were put out, as there was nothing obvious for these to be used with from the food selections available. I also had an issue with my shower (room 4 in Wyndham lodge) in that I could not change the water temperature as the relevant dial would not move. It seemed to be stuck on a very hot temperature and therefore I could not put myself fully under the water and had to be quite creative in order to get myself clean and rinsed as a result.
