Maajid Quba Hotel&Restaurant Sanatorium

The hotel is located in a beautiful area with amazing nature and surroundings — truly a relaxing and scenic environment.

The breakfast was very poor in both variety and quality, and it was difficult to find a free table during peak season. Additionally, when I asked for a bottle of water at the reception, the staff told me to drink from the tap, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this level. Overall, while the location is excellent, the staff clearly need training in hospitality and guest service. With better service, the experience could match the beauty of the place.

Staff very accomodating and friendly however was a few issues to follow and it definitley wasnt what it was advertised as

First of all we were greeted warmly, when we went to our room we got told ir was a mountain view, the balcony had two old chairs on it and the balcony looked our into the carpark and noise playground you could see some peaks of mountains in distance Then we looked at the room there was no towels whatsoever so we asked for more towels, they then bought us one towel only we explained we needed another towel. 1 hr later the guy arrived with towels that were wet and damp and apologised as thats all they had. We went down to enjoy some beverages by the river the river was quite smelly and the live music playing was sooooo loud like so loud could hear from the room and couldnt have a conversation outside. You are supposed to be in a tranquil place but music was overbearing. I then ordered but got told that wasnt available despite it being on the menu Next morning we got up for breakfast lines of people waiting for it to open at 830am and the. Was free for all people pushing in taking loads of food. The options were limited and they didnt have any coffee whatsoever. We then eventually had an issue with ourvar which forced us to go back to baku to get fixed and asked for s refund on the last night we were told no The owner was nice but overall experience poor and definitley not what its advertised as luxury
