New Ocean Vibes Ahangama

Room was great, comfy bed with fly net, fan and aircon. Shower was great. The back balcony is so beautiful with views of the water at the back doorstep. Breakfast was huge and delicious!

There was no window with natural light in the room I stayed in. Booking.com indicates that you pay the full amount online with your card but when I went to leave they chased after me saying I needed to pay cash. I checked my account and hadn’t been charged but it was a bit confusing.

Quite room with nice sea view, aircon und fan. Large and comfortable king size bed with mosquito net.

Next to the shore, on between Midigama and Ahangama.

I had booked 4 days, and then went to Galle, but decided to go back, since this was great value for money. Big bed, clean room, right on the water, where the snorkeling was great. Good food, and stable wifi. Try their pineapple shake. Also cheap scooter rental. Nice breakfast.

Room on the beach side, quiet.

No sea view as there are trees. The garden has some construction material, there is no nice way to go to the beach.

Breakfast was nice but can't balance the negative owners' behavior. You are really a wallet and they just want your money. They don't care about nothing else.

We don't understand how they can get such a rating on booking. We have a real bad memory of our stay and it s a dark spot on our entire travel. Out of 7 places we visited, this was totally against Sri lankan way of treating tourists. They don't give a s* about you or how you can feel or why you are here etc. It s worth a low quality hostel. Breakfast was the only good thing. If you want to work in tourism, you have to first treat tourists like persons, not like dollar bills.

Nice bed, great view, cool a/c, great breakfast with a view, and snorkeling right in front of the hotel.

Very friendly family with excellent home cooking.
